{"id":2,"date":"2018-06-03T19:40:19","date_gmt":"2018-06-03T18:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/peterpurves.net\/wp2\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2023-03-30T12:08:13","modified_gmt":"2023-03-30T11:08:13","slug":"dr-who","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/peterpurves.net\/wp2\/dr-who\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Who"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In 2021, The Drama and Media Studies dept. at <strong>UCLan<\/strong> re-.produced one of <strong>Dr Who<\/strong>&#8216;s most intriguing missing episodes,<strong> \u2018Mission to the Unknown\u2019 <\/strong>which was a teaser episode for the 12 part serial, <strong>&#8220;The Dalek Masterplan&#8221;<\/strong>. It was a superb production, and I was privileged to attend its filming, and to publicise it to the Dr Who fandom via Twitter. The commentaries explain the visuals which cannot be seen as we only had the original audio Sound-track tapes. These tapes can be found on the BBC Audio Collection, where you can hear the undoctored (forgive the pun) original sound tracks of the nine serials mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p>I have also recorded a number of<strong> BBC Audio Books<\/strong> including The Dalek Masterplan (with Jean Marsh), The Time meddler, and The Massacre of St Bartholomew\u2019s Eve.
